My heart goes 'sha la la la la~'~~

Tomorrow's the day~~ Can't wait for things to be done. It's been almost 2 months. Guess it's time to face "it" and back to reality. Half more months and we'll have our own sweet, little place~~

Pray (hard) for us that we can 'survive' the half year! ;)

Memories...

Just found a cute piece of mine, in another blog. Enjoy it =)

It’s been so long since I last updated this blog. Didn’t even realise i wrote so much here. It’s funny reading previous posts. Guess I really grew up along the way. For your information, I’m happily “registered”. And the lucky guy is… Mr Keith aka Gao~~ Want to know the “process of proposal”? Haha… Here it goes…
On that faithful day, it’s actually my birthday 4th March, we’ve planned that I’ll go S’pore to visit him since my class ended for that week. It was like the usual trip, me going to KL Sentral, then take the bus to LCCT, take the plane to S’pore and finally SMRT to Jurong Point. Although I can reach Sgp faster than taking a bus straight from KL, the process of reaching LCCT and Jurong Point already took 2 and a half hours. So by the time I reached Sgp, my stomach’s growling, tired, sleepy…
Since it was my birthday, he took me to the Japanese buffet in JP. All i could think of was, “gosh, i’m hungry. food, food, food, come to me~~”. However, he complained that the waiter gave us sit at such an ‘open’ area. I thought he didn’t like eating there. After a sumptuous dinner, we went back…
I was a bit disappointed when I reached his house. Coz there was no sight of Winnie the Pooh that I ‘indicated’ to him to buy for my birthday. Haha… He wished me Happy Birthday and took a cotton rose to me. “you really buy this for me only? Sobs…” That’s what i was thinking. I even searched in between the rose petals, just in case he wanted to give me ‘additional surprise’. But… it’s just a flower… He couldn’t stop smiling, his wicked smile :P and later took the big big Winnie the Pooh out… My mouth turned to a ‘u’ shape again.
I was busy playing with my ‘new baby’ when he suddenly took out a small, black box and asked “will you marry me?”. I was shocked, speechless, blank!
“Are you kidding with me?”
“No. Will you marry me?”
“But is this how people propose?” (he was sitting that time)
He stood up and knelt in front of me, before asking again, “will you marry me?”
I was so elated that I kept grinning and finally said a much awaited “yes”…
So that’s how he proposed. And finally, on 25th April 2009, we were declared ‘husband & wife’… "

That was one year ago, and my niece's going to be 3 years old... (we started when she was just born. So she's sth like a reminder of how long we've been together =) )

It's not the same anymore...

"People always say it's not the same after marriage." That puzzled me when i was unattached. But when I'm in their shoes, it still makes me guessing...
Whenever I said about property or holiday destinations, you'll keep quiet. I've been hoping so much for a time off, just the two of us. Facing those little ruckus has been so dreadful. We still have a long destination to go, yet ...
Let me know what's in your mind. Don't give me THE black face whenever you're not feeling good. It hurts me badly. And that's how I treated you back, to let you know what i felt. I know it's not right, but...
You know I always keep things to my heart, yet you didn't guide me to let it go. Why people change so drastically? Why a piece of paper can bring such big difference to couples? How are we going to go through the tens, hundreds, thousands, millions etc of years together?

Learning blog

What am I doing here, during school hours? Haha.. Coz I'm attending a "Blog Course"! Thought it was something new, mana tau, it's on how to open a blog, which I already have! 10 minutes more to go before my first class of the day... Gtg...

7 months to go...

I still have 7 months to suffer/tahan before the long term school break. I'm really looking forward to holidays...

How i wished it's schooling or uni life again. At least i can skip classes without thinking what reasons to give. Working life is totally different. Lots of responsibilities. Lots of work, lots of  tension.
I should be feeling contented bout life. But it seems empty, something is missing. Where can I find the 'thing' to fill the emptiness...?

1 L

It's the second lesson for my Moral class for 1L. Below are the situation...
Teacher: Ok, sekarang Pend Moral. Saya cikgu yang menggantikan guru Moral awak. Beliau sedang cuti bersalin.
Student: Lao shi, speak in mandarin... We don't understand. (They were talking in chinese)
Teacher: Pend Moral dalam BM. (continue mumbling bout the subject)
Student: Teacher, speak in mandarin...
Teacher: Jadi bila jawab soalan exam juga dalam mandarin? Nanti fail Moral macam mana? =_=''
Student: (laughing)

I continued to teach in BM and they just kept quiet. When the class' bout to over, i told them...

Nanti sampai Form 5 masih begini, macam mana?
Student: (suddenly looked up and smiled. Guess a bit worried look. Hehe.. )
Teacher: (realising that, I fast fast continued...) Cikgu bukan nak cakap kamu, tapi kena belajar dari basic. Bila dah tahu basic, then senang nak belajar mata pelajaran lain. Kalao tak paham apa apa perkataan/ ayat di sini, boleh tanya cikgu. =)

Students happily leave the classroom...

It's quite funny looking at their faces when I talked bout Form 5. Hehe... But I'm glad they didn't make noise when I was teaching or preparing notes for them. Moral... seems an easy subject but when it comes to teaching it, I'm blank on how to conduct! =_=''

What a day...

It was the first day of school... 11am already started preparing my lunch - maggie mee =_=" Drove 10 minutes to school, there's no place to park car! Coz the morning session teachers haven't leave school yet. Sigh... Imagine finding parking lot each time go to school. One colleague even park outside of school compound, to prevent the hassle of 'maybe' blocking other cars.
The school assembly was supposed to start at 1pm but 1.30pm only they manage to squeeze the students into the tiny hall. After assembly, went to check for timetable. Mana tau, it's not ready yet. And the office was packed with parents, asking for transfer from that school.
There are just too many things... I'm not really satisfied. Although tropicana is smaller, more 'chan', the management is much better... No gas continue, headache...

SMK Seksyen 4 KD, i'm coming~~

La~ la~ la~ Tomorrow's going to be the first day of school for me and also for all of the students in M'sia. Still haven't get my timetable yet. Hopefully by tomorrow, I will know the subjects that I'm going to take over. The teachers seem ok. Some said I looked like Japanese! Hehe.. How I wish... =P
Yesterday was the orientation day for Remove and Form One students. All the teachers were required to attend the function and help out. I'd to help a Remove class teacher to collect school fees and guide the students to take text books. Couldn't believe my hands shaking while collecting money! =_=" It was such a tiring day...
More to come for the new year, wish me all the best ;)

My new school... the beginning of a nightmare? =(

Tomorrow's going to be the first day I'll meet the teachers of SMK Seksyen 4 KD. There are 100 of them, where out of this, only 9 chinese... Totally different from SMK Tropicana.
Since today is the last day of my holiday, I slept super long, almost 10 hours! Haven add the 2 hours nap! =P Will be teaching in the afternoon session. So I've to train not to take afternoon nap anymore... Good thing bout afternoon session is I can wake up late. But the negative part is... you can't do much thing in one day! Unless you wake up at 6.30am like the morning session teachers and start preparing your stuff! And one thing that amused me about that school is... Form 1 consists of 14 classes!! Each class has around 30 students. Imagine that... 14 x 30 = 420 Form 1 students!! Double the Form 1 students in SMK Tropicana. *faint*
Guess it's time to wake my brain up and refresh it. Lots of names to remember soon...

New journey's bout to begin...

Finally the posting results are out. I'm considered lucky to have succeeded in the interview and also got a school so near to my place. It's really out of my expectation. Bye bye, SMK Tropicana. I'm going to miss the 'pampered' days teaching in that school, the staff, teachers... Going from a B school to a gred A school can be quite challenging. I've no experience in conducting experiments in laboratory! And there are lots of things I'm starting to worry about... Please, give me strength and support to go through this. How I wished it was 4 years back, just a freshie enjoying uni life...

I wish...

I wish...

  1. things will get better as time pass by.
  2. he'll adjust slowly to the life here.
  3. i don't have to listen to complains or stand 'black face' each time go out walk walk.
  4. i can get the guru ganti stuff.
  5. the students will treat me well.
  6. i don't have to scream my lung out to control the class like last time.
  7. i will get better instead of falling sick almost once a month.
  8. my ear air pressure will balance itself soon, i can't stand the weird feeling of one side stucked.
  9. people will consider my feelings and not take me for granted.
  10. we can walk this road together, hand in hand, without forgetting what binds us together in the first place...

Complicated

As time pass by, things are getting complicated. Sometimes, it's out of our control. But at times, we just can't think of how to settle it. The road is always straight but the thick fog is making it harder to reach. No matter what, a conclusion will come one day...

Tough, tough, tough

Things are getting tougher. Why? Why? Why? Really pissed with things recently. Been going through emotional 'turbulence' lately. Can't control myself. Just letting it slum deeper and deeper. Feeling helpless.. Where have all of you gone to? I.. I need help...

Passage of life...

Sometimes, being a human can be difficult. You have to please this and that, you have to bear with this and that, you have to ..... endless things... When something goes overboard, you can't stand and blow it. But when discussing the same thing for ... few years and it's still the same, what should i do? How should i overcome it... It's getting onto everyone's nerve. You can't stand it doesn't mean that i can stand it. I'm also human being with emotions, not just you. I'm also worried, not just you. Know why i always keep quiet? Coz you know that's my weakness in arguing. I'm not sure whether i'm doing the right thing all these while... But i can't stand it anymore. It's getting onto my nerves too... Can't you get it? It's not just you!

My 2 weeks Sg trip ;)

Chinese Garden, quite a good jogging place ;)
The cartoon, Up, that i wanted to watch badly...
Special breakfast, from honey =)
Fish and chips for only S$6.80
Minced meat noodle, S$4.50
Sg's KFC cheezy fries (not so nice)
My cutey piggy that was kidnapped and later found!

My first salary!!!

Just got my first salary yesterday. And the job is... clean house for two weeks (actually is just few days. And most of the time stay in front of the pc online~~ =P) But of course, sacrifice my legs too. So many mosquitoes bite!!! Sobs.. It was quite boring actually. Wake up, breakfast, clean house, online, lunch, online, nap, dinner, then either online, shopping or... bed time again. Sigh.. Think i'm going to gain a lot of weight.
Rumours had it that our posting forms were sent in late. So we've to wait till Oct only will be called for interview. Saw one of them in USM will be going for interview next week. Means they can get their posting by Nov. And us, Oct interview, maybe next year only posting!! Sigh..
Have to change plan again.. So what should i do in these half year? Stay in Sg, enjoy the half year being "housewife", or work part time in KL, or apply for temporary teaching in KL or TI. How, how, how??? =(

Another journey to go~~

The journey of a trainee ended and now another journey starts. Which is... Holidays~~~ Since there is no news bout the temporary teaching thing, so i made up my mind to go Singapore~ yeap, Sg as my holiday destination (although all i do there is eat, sleep, online, eat, walk walk, eat, sleep!) Basically, it's more like being a 'housewife'. Helping hubby clean the room, the house... And around 5pm is my 'active' period - window shopping~~ (financial crisis, back to window shopping, as usual )

Hubby suggested something to me. Go Sg, become 'housewife' and he'll pay me $1k. How's that? All i need to do is clean the house. No cooking since the stove can't use (thank god =P) And i can find part time if i want. ;)
Another version is... he'll pay me according to M'sia's teaching profession. From a guru sandaran terlatih to a confirmed teacher. And the job is the same, clean the house.
So... should i or shouldn't i? Any opinion? =P

The journey ends...

At last the practicum ended. A bit disappointed with my students. Coz ... Seems like my partner and I are the only ones didn't receive any presents from students... Sobs... Saw others posted in the FB, going out with students, getting presents from them... But we... bought things for school instead =(
Are we really that bad? Sobs... They don't appreciate us...

At last~~

Today was the last observation by my supervisor. She came early as she thought the class was at 11.05am. We were walking to the class when my students suddenly came out of the class and saw us. I signaled to them to prepare the table and they quickly went back. The bell haven't ring but the teacher already walked out of the class. She saw us and greeted the supervisor.
When we went into the room, my students were quite excited. V, one of my students said, "Good luck, teacher." and smiled.

I was supposed to teach probability. It's the ratio of the number of times an event occurs to the number of trials. When i was giving them examples, suddenly the students were like arguing. I thought they did not understand why I substituted the numbers in the formula. So I went through the substitution with them based on the definition of probability. Out of the blue, I was the one that substituted the wrong data!! It was a bit embarrassing that time. Then one of my students said, "Teacher, we know you were testing us just now~"! I couldn't stop smiling =)
While I was inspecting on the students' work, another student asked, "Teacher, today I didn't sleep in class. Got what reward for that?". I was like "er... I will let you know later". Haha.. Students... (Coz he always sleeps in class. I told him to stay awake just for one day when the supervisor is there :P)

Although I only got 72%, it was a relieve that the observation's over... The Form 4 class was very cooperative compared to Form 2. I begin to like the students, for their cooperation and helpfulness...

Something small yet lighten the day & the heart...

Today, something unexpected happened. I was in the staffroom, doing my own stuff, chatting with my partner. Suddenly, out of nowhere, three little girls came to my place and called "lao shi~". One of them handed me one packet of titbits and I was like, "er... what's happening?".

Pn Chan : Which class are you?
Students: Remove class
Pn Chan : Oh~~ (delighted, surprised, speechless, blank!)
Students: She's leaving soon. So gave this to teachers.
Pn Chan : Thank you, thank you... (eyes can't stop looking at the titbits. Hahaha... )

They left the staffroom happily while the teacher still puzzled as to why they gave her the small token. My partner didn't get it. So I was thinking, is it because this is the last pack, so they just gave it to me?! Hahaha...
Then... (I'm still not sure what's the reason for the small token till now) my partner said, "maybe because you relief that class before. I've never been to that class." And something struck me, that's the class that i told my hubby, like a zoo!!! =_="
But of course, those three students were quite cute that time, did their own work while I kept jeling, fumed at other students that talked and shouted and played at the back. One even said crude word bout me! Huh!
Well, although it's just a small token, it really lighten my day. I was so garang before the school holiday, yet she still gave me the titbits... Sobs... I'm... I'm speechless... Suddenly miss the school. Haha...

That's the little, precious token from the little girl in remove class =)

The ways teacher treat students really make a difference. I'm trying to improve myself, control my temper, talk louder (already over limit but they still can't hear me), be more positive. Hopefully it will be a sweet memory for me before leaving the school. (I'm starting to miss the school again =_='')
